WHAT TO EXPECT

Visiting a church for the first time can feel overwhelming — but it doesn’t have to. At Muscle Shoals Baptist Church, you’ll find real people, Christ-centered worship, and a place where your family is truly welcome.

WE CAN’T WAIT TO MEET YOU

At Muscle Shoals Baptist Church, you’ll find a church family that is warm, welcoming, and rooted in God’s Word. Whether you’re new to church, returning to your faith, or looking for a place for your family to grow, we want you to feel right at home from the moment you arrive.

Parking is available in the main lot directly in front of the church.

What to Expect
Our services are friendly, heartfelt, and centered around the preaching and teaching of the Bible.
Expect a warm greeting, Christ-honoring music, and a message that applies God’s Word to everyday life.
Worship Style:

Our goal is not to perform, but to worship together. Feel free to sing, listen, reflect, and just be present.

We sing a blend of:

  • Traditional hymns

  • Southern gospel & familiar worship songs

  • Occasional special music from skilled singers & guest groups

Most services are led with acoustic guitar, and at times piano or special tracks support our singing.
On certain Sundays, we host 5th Sunday Singings, featuring special groups, testimonies, and a night of praise and encouragement.

For Your Kids & Family

We love families — and we’re building a place where children can grow in faith and feel loved.
Here’s how our children’s ministry currently works:

Sunday Morning (11 AM) Children stay with their family for the beginning of service, then are dismissed to Children’s Church before the sermon. Nursery is available if needed in the back building. Sunday Evening Kids remain with parents for now (nursery is available as needed as we grow).

Wednesday Night – Bible Explorers Club (6 PM)Ages 4–12 meet in the back building for Bible lessons, activities, and fun fellowship. Nursery is available as needed.

Your children are welcome to stay with you at any service—no pressure, no expectations.
We simply want them to feel safe, loved, and included.

What to Wear
Dress is comfortable and varies.
Some wear jeans, some dress up — come as you are.
We’re just glad you’re here.

Where to Go When You Arrive
When you enter the front doors:

  1. A greeter will welcome you.

  2. They’ll help answer any questions.

  3. If you have children, we’ll help guide you to the right place if you’d like to use nursery or Children’s Church.

No pressure — you can sit anywhere you feel comfortable.

Welcome to Muscle Shoals Baptist Church!

Welcome to Muscle Shoals Baptist Church!

It is a joy and a privilege to serve this church family and our community. As we step into a new season of ministry together, my heart is full of expectation for what God is going to do, in our lives, in our homes, and through our church.

Our prayer is that Muscle Shoals Baptist will be a place where you feel welcomed, loved, and challenged to grow in your walk with Christ. We want to be a church that holds fast to the truth of God's Word, cares deeply for one another, and reaches out with the hope of the Gospel, both here in our city and around the world.

Whether you're visiting for the first time or looking for a church to call home, we would love to walk this journey of faith with you.
